Gina's Alfresco off to a beautiful begining!

Gina's Alfresco is at the heart of Festival of Arts and at the entrance of Pageant of the Masters in the beautiful Laguna Beach. I had the pleasure of being at the artist party on day one, and I must say that it was an amazing event. The artists ranged from prolific painters, jewelers and photographers. I enjoyed every moment of music and people watching. The people of Laguna Beach are some of the friendliest and interesting folks I've had the pleasure of meeting.

Gina's Alfresco offers Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters Patrons Italian Cuisine.  Gina's "Alfresco" concept represents a very diversified menu with items such as Pizzetta, freshly baked, 6" individual pizza's; various salads; grilled Italian style sandwiches and subs; and fresh fruit bowl tempt the palate. Desserts run the gamut, from caramel apple wedges to "hot" caramel kettle corn to freshly baked cinnamon rolls.

Keep on checking out the site as we'll update you with photos, videos and artist interviews!!

LAGUNA BEACH --- At 10 years old, Laguna Beach native Brandon Sears first competed in the Victoria Skimboards World Championship of Skimboarding with a Victoria “foamie” board.

He’s been a mainstay at “The Vic,” making it to the final heat of the professional division several times but never coming out with a win.

That changed Sunday, as Brandon C. Sears – also known simply as “BCS” – got his win, taking the professional division final at the 33rd annual event held over the weekend at Aliso Beach. And the win wasn’t even as controversial as college football’s BCS, either.

The best kind of word of mouth: Being nice

It's always nice to hear that our patrons have had a wonderful experience.  Here is a story about being nice by Andy Sernovitz!  At Gina's Pizza and Pastaria in Orange County, CA, the manager asked a customer, "Do you have a coupon? I see you've purchased three of these pizzas in the past few months, and they should have had coupons on the box."  The customer didn't.

So the manager took a flyer from the counter and pulled out a coupon. "See, we just saved almost five dollars."

For $4.90, Gina's turned a satisfied customer into a loyal customer.  (And got a ton of word of mouth, including blog posts like this.)  Read More Here...
