When my grandmother Gina first opened the doors on Iris Avenue, Corona Del Mar was a quiet little village by the sea. Fifty years later the neighborhood has changed but one thing hasn’t — the smell of hand-tossed dough and homemade sauce still drifts out onto the street every single day.
This is the original Gina’s. The one where regulars have been coming since before their kids were born, and now bring those kids — and their kids. We’ve fed surfers coming off the beach at Corona Del Mar State Park, couples celebrating anniversaries, and celebrities who just wanted a quiet booth and a good slice. Everyone gets the same table at Gina’s.
We make everything from scratch the way Gina taught us — dough aged overnight, sauces simmered slow, ingredients that speak for themselves. Whether you’re ordering a pizza to share on the beach or sitting down for pasta and a glass of wine, you’re eating food made with fifty years of love behind it.
Come find us on Iris Avenue. We’ve been here this long — we’ll be here when you arrive.
