Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 8, 2025 | Last Updated: May 3, 2025
Overview
Gina’s Pizza (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates ginaspizza.com. This privacy policy describes, specifically and accurately, the information this website collects, the third-party services it connects to, and your rights as a California resident.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels (Facebook, TikTok, X/Twitter, Google Ads), retargeting scripts, session-recording tools, or chat widgets. We do not sell or share your personal information for behavioral advertising purposes.
Information You Provide
If you submit a catering inquiry through the form on our website, we collect the information you enter — which may include your name, email address, phone number, event details, and any other information you choose to share. We use this information solely to respond to your request.
We do not collect payment information on this website. All online ordering and payment processing occurs on third-party platforms (see Third-Party Services below), each governed by their own privacy policy.
Automatically Collected Information
Like all websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic server data when you access any page on ginaspizza.com. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and the date and time of each request. This data is used for security, performance monitoring, and abuse prevention, and is not used to identify you personally.
This website is hosted on WP Engine. Their privacy policy is available at wpengine.com/legal/privacy (opens in new tab).
Cookies
We use only functional (essential) cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cookies that follow you across other websites.
- WordPress session cookies — Set automatically by WordPress to maintain basic site functionality, security, and form-submission integrity. These expire when you close your browser or at the end of a short session window.
- Cloudflare Turnstile security cookie — Set when you interact with the catering inquiry form, which uses Cloudflare’s Turnstile service to prevent spam and automated bot submissions. This is a functional security cookie; it does not track you across other websites or build a behavioral profile.
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect form functionality on the catering page.
Third-Party Services
The following third-party services are active on this website. Each was confirmed by direct audit of the site’s network activity. Clicking links to third-party ordering or application platforms takes you off this website; those platforms have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
AccessiBe — Accessibility Widget
We use AccessiBe to help make this website accessible to people with disabilities, including users of screen readers, keyboard navigation, and other assistive technologies. AccessiBe loads a JavaScript file from acsbap.com on every page. This transmits your IP address and basic browser information to AccessiBe’s servers to deliver the accessibility interface. AccessiBe does not set advertising cookies and does not build behavioral profiles for advertising purposes.

Cloudflare Turnstile — Spam & Bot Protection
Our catering inquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-detection service that helps prevent automated spam submissions. When you load or submit the catering form, Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser attributes to determine whether you are a human visitor. Cloudflare may set a functional cookie for this purpose. This data is used only for security validation, not for advertising.

HungerRush — Online Ordering (CDM & Laguna Beach)
The “Order Now” buttons for our Corona Del Mar and Laguna Beach locations link to an online ordering platform operated by HungerRush (ginaspizza.hungerrush.com). Once you follow that link, you are on HungerRush’s platform and their privacy policy governs your data, including any ordering and payment information you provide. We do not receive or process payment data through this site.

SpotOn — Online Ordering (Costa Mesa)
The “Order Now” button for our Costa Mesa location links to SpotOn’s online ordering platform (order.spoton.com). Once you follow that link, SpotOn’s privacy policy governs your data, including any ordering and payment information you provide. We do not receive or process payment data through this site.

Typeform — Employment Applications
The “Join Us” link in our navigation leads to an employment application form hosted by Typeform (shoutcome.typeform.com). If you complete that form, the information you provide is collected and processed by Typeform under their privacy policy. We receive your application responses from Typeform, but your interaction with the form itself is subject to Typeform’s data practices.

How We Use Your Information
- Catering inquiries — to respond to your specific request and coordinate your event
- Server logs — for security monitoring, uptime, and preventing abuse of this website
- Accessibility — AccessiBe processes limited technical data to deliver the accessibility widget
- Spam prevention — Cloudflare Turnstile data is used to verify that form submissions are made by humans
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or behavioral marketing. We do not combine information collected on this website with advertising networks or data brokers.
Data Retention
Catering inquiry submissions are retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the inquiry and for a reasonable record-keeping period thereafter, typically no longer than two years unless a longer period is required by law. Server log data is retained according to WP Engine’s standard data retention policies. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time (see California Privacy Rights below).
Data Security
This website is hosted on WP Engine, a managed WordPress hosting provider that maintains enterprise-grade security infrastructure including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), Web Application Firewall (WAF) protection, and regular security patching. While we take these and other reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or from this website.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
As a California-based business, we honor the following rights for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

- Right to Delete — You may request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to limited legal exceptions.
- Right to Correct — You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Non-Discrimination — We will not penalize you in any way for exercising any of these rights.
We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not use your data for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not engage in these practices, no opt-out mechanism is required — but you may still contact us with any privacy-related request.
To exercise any of the rights above, email us at info@ginaspizza.com. We will respond within 45 days as required by California law.
Children’s Privacy
This website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal information to us may contact us at info@ginaspizza.com.
